Parshe Fish is a familiar fish in Bengali cuisine, commonly know as black mullet in singapore it can be prepared with mustard, chilli and aromatic spices or even simply steaming them. Its mild savoury flavour works particularly well in Shorshe Parshe, Bengali mustard gravy, light curry and pan-fried preparations.
